On all embroidery workshops I will share with you all my working methods and introduce you to my favourite stitches, tools and materials. We will learn how to make a colour palette, experiment with thread and create together in every class.

seaweed tote bag
February 15th, 2020 - 14.00 to 18.00
Space 2122 - Friedrichshain, Berlin
In this workshop we will get together to learn Hand Embroidery while stitching these colourful seaweed.
You will learn the four stitches to do so as well as all the processes and secrets behind this handmade technique I love so much. You can choose to stitch a cotton Tote Bag or place your design on a natural linen fabric which you could then frame or turn into a cushion or patch. Your choice!
We will embroider with Argentinian super thin, hand-dyed wool that gives a lovely Crewel effect to the finish piece. You will also get your own Embroidery Kit which you will take home to continue with your own future Embroidery Projects.
As always, we will also talk about how you prep your hoop and fabric, what materials to use, how to make a color palette and discuss pattern transfer methods to fabric.
All materials are included: you will go home with your brand new Embroidery KIT and your self-stitched Tote Bag. Tea, coffee and snacks are also included!

In this five hour session workshop you will be able to choose your favorite design to embroider: the flying original Crane or her Sister, both with the delicate Cherry Blossom branch.
Each design was hand-embroidered using a total of seven stitches. In this course you will be given all instructions for learning these stitches while creating this beautiful Japanese scene.

In this monthly course you will develop our own personal Embroidery Project: tune your clothes, make a piece of wall art, cushions or just keep experimenting. We will gather together and put into practice what you´ve already learnt in previous workshops to get your own creative project real!
In this workshop you will all work independently with my company and advice learning and getting inspired from one another.
Please note: this module ideally follows the monthly course "Throughout Embroidery". But If you already know some stitches and the basic steps or have done another workshop, you are totally welcome!
You should bring your Embroidery KIT and the materials you need for your project. There will always be all kind of thread for you to use in the workshop, though.
